Hello from Kev
KSPS is the sole trading venture by myself, Kev Stratton. I have over 25 years experience in a wide range of theatrical productions and events, both off and even on stage. I'm a Somerset native and enjoy working closely with local professionals and community groups alike, and have built a strong reputation with my professional body of work.

I also subcontract work from other individuals and organisations (and visa-versa) to provide services to the industry. Since 2022, KSPS has worked alongside Jen Mclean, an experienced Festival services Manager to deliver several KSPS projects together as joint Production Managers.
​
I have a young family based here and when not on production enjoy a wide range of activities including sport, endurance running and popular culture.

Thoughts on Theatre & Events
An event is something to be experience by a wide range of people, often with whom you'll have no direct connection with - yet, anyone running or involved in an event, needs to make connection.
As a "creative", a technician, or a performer, it's our job to do just that.

That's my passion. Coupled with a strong grounding in safety, compliance and professionalism, without which, you are always running the risk of falling short, or worse.
I truly believe it is possible to span both the practical and creative aspects of our industry, and, when done well - make a real connection. That's why I do what I do, work the way I work and believe in the power of creative arts and events.
